Grinevich Lab Viral Vectors
By removing the ability to replicate, Adeno associated viruses can be used as a safe tool to deliver small sequences of genetic information into neurons and other brain cells. The targeting of those neurons is highly specific and allows us to express the genes only in cells of interest. Those could be Oxytocin producing neurons or Oxytocin receptor expressing neurons in distinct regions of the brain.
We specialised in the developement and production of a variety of AAVs which not only allow specific cell targeting but also endogenous stimulation or inhibition. A full list of our currently available viruses can be found below:
